Teen Volunteer Program

The Prince George Public Library is looking for teen volunteers to join our team. Intake of new volunteers occurs in the fall of each year.

Teen Volunteers help with children’s events, are leaders in our Reading Buddies Program, and have input on services offered to teens. Teen Volunteers will receive documentation verifying their volunteer hours and gain valuable experience. Applications are available at the Youth Services Desk at the Bob Harkins Branch, and at the Information Desk at the Nechako Branch. Applications will be accepted until October 15th, 2017.

Applicants must be available to volunteer at least one hour per week, beginning in January 2018. Applicants will be interviewed between October 15th and November 15th, 2017.

For more information contact Teen Librarian Heather Gloster, at 250-563-9251 ext. 105.
