In 2025 we worked with Splash Media Group to chart a new direction for the look and feel of the Prince George Public Library. This project included consultation with library patrons, community stakeholders, board members, and staff to ensure the voice of the Prince George community would drive the changes that would later unfold.
Some of the recurring themes shared by the community about what they value most from the library included free access, a third space, low barrier activities, abundant resources, community connection, and magical discovery.
These themes, along with the broader feedback we received, guided the creation of a refreshed slogan, colour palette, logo, and other key brand elements.
We're excited for this new branding to support and inspire generations of library users for years to come!
