Amtgard - Barony of the Northern Grove is a sword and sorcery based social club which utilizes foam weapons for combat. Their activities go beyond combat including crafts, map making, cooking, and much more! They also strive to be as inclusive as possible, with options for those interested in combat without being touched. What to Expect
● Takes place outdoors and indoors in a wheelchair-accessible space
● Lighting is adjustable
● There is some shade and shelter
● Some nearby traffic sounds
● Accessible and inclusive washrooms are available in the library on the main floor by elevator or stairs
● Participants can sit or stand
● Participants may leave the space at any time

It's important that our programs are accessible for everyone. We offer sensory materials for youth including wiggle cushions, ear defenders, and fidget toys at the main service desk—you do not need a library card.
