What to Expect:
● Takes place indoors in a comfortable space
● The lighting is bright and may be turned off
● Accessible and inclusive washrooms are available nearby
● Participants may leave the room at any time
● Electronic screens, bright colours, and/or reflective surfaces
● Background music played at a low volume
● Out and About is a safe space for LGBTQIA2S+ youth
● Everyone must abide by the code of conduct, treating each other with kindness and respect
● Gluten and dairy allergen alert (vegetarian, meat, and gluten free pizzas)
It's important that our programs are accessible for everyone. We offer sensory materials for youth including wiggle cushions, ear defenders, and fidget toys at the main service desk—you do not need a library card.
