Better Late than Never Launch

-
Bob Harkins Branch

Rikki Holland Bio: Rikki Holland is a Northern BC poet. Her work is inspired by bodies of water, insect activity, sapphic love, and mental illness. Her first book, "The Woman of the Sun" was published in 2022, followed by her recently published sophomore collection "Maggot Girl" (2025). Rikki’s poetry is published elsewhere in "Pulp Mill Fiction" and "Thimbleberry Magazine", and she was nominated for the Pushcart Prize for her submission “Elizeus the Problem” featured in "Eccentric Orbits Vol. 5".

Damon Robinson Bio: Some moments in our childhood set the trajectory for our lives, and to ignore them is to live in a world not meant for you. "Putting The Dog To Sleep" is a recapture of those moments in youth, a dive into those intense feelings, and an exploration of what they meant. Damon Robinson is an Indigenous poet from Hazelton, BC and is continuing to work on a new project.

The "Better Late Than Never Launch" celebrates these two collections of poetry after their official publishing date has passed. We hope you will join us to keep momentum going for these marvelous books that never had an official launch!

Books will be available for purchase at this event.
