Caring for Pets

Both branches of PGPL will be CLOSED on Tuesday, September 30, for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Interlibrary loan service is currently unavailable due to the Canada Post strike.

Dig, burrow or chew your way into the wonderful world of pets this spring break! In this virtual series, we will discover how we can keep our animal companions healthy, happy and having fun! Animal lovers with or without pets at home are invited to join us for three fun-filled live sessions featuring crafts, games and special guest appearances from a few furry friends.

Learn about general care for dogs, cats and small pets, like hamsters and guinea pigs, as well as how kids can help animals in their community. After each live session, keep the fun going by hopping over to our Flipgrid* where you will find at-home activities, just for fun sheets, videos, and games to play with your pals – two and four legged!
