Music Stories: ‘Are You Listening?’

Come join Maggie and the Prince George Conservatory of music for a musical afternoon! We will develop our listening skills and explore how musicians tell stories with sound.
No previous musical experience is required. Just bring yourself and your listening ears!

• Takes place indoors in a quiet, comfortable space
• The room may be busy or crowded
• The lighting is adjustable
• Accessible and inclusive washrooms are available nearby
• Participants can sit on the floor or in chairs
• Participants may leave the room at any time
• Sudden or loud sounds
• Live music played at a moderate volume
• Movement-based activities may be adapted to different abilities

It's important that our programs are accessible for everyone. We offer sensory materials for youth including wiggle cushions, ear defenders, and fidget toys at the main service desk—you do not need a library card.
