• Takes place indoors in a quiet, comfortable space
• The room may become busy, depending on the activity
• The lighting is adjustable
• Accessible and inclusive washrooms are available nearby
• Participants can sit in chairs or stand
• Electronic screens, bright colours, and/or reflective surfaces
• Background music played at a low volume
• Involves sticky, slippery, or other textures
• Involves possible allergens—please contact us if you have specific concerns

It's important that our programs are accessible for everyone. We offer sensory materials for youth including wiggle cushions, ear defenders, and fidget toys at the main service desk—you do not need a library card.
