Put your mark on the library! Use paint pens to design book-themed bookends for the teen section of the Bob Harkins branch. All materials provided. Please note that the oil paint pens could stain your clothes, so don’t wear your favourite shirt!

What to expect:
• Takes place indoors in a quiet, comfortable space
• Takes place in a public area of the library
• The lighting in the room is bright and is not adjustable
• Accessible and inclusive washrooms are available nearby
• Limited seating available
• Painting materials could stain clothing- please dress accordingly
• Painted bookends will remain in the library and once the paint and protective layer has dried, the bookends will be used in the Teen section at the Bob Harkins Branch

It's important that our programs are accessible for everyone. We offer sensory materials for youth including wiggle cushions, ear defenders, and fidget toys at the main service desk—you do not need a library card.
