2017
Publication Award

The Recorded History of the Liard Basin: Where British Columbia joins the Yukon and NWT, by Anthony Kenyon, was celebrated as a work contributing to regional history. A physician, Kenyon settled in Fort Nelson in the mid-1960s and became increasingly interested in the history of the area. His book examines the history of the Liard Basin area of B.C. from 1800 to 1910. Kenyon was unable to attend the event, but accepted his award via video.
