The Golden Raven Initiative was created to promote cultural tourism within the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George. This program is part of a cultural plan to establish a vision for sustained growth and management of arts, culture and heritage within our region.
The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George created the Golden Raven Discovery Pass in 2016 to provide library cardholders with free access to North Central B.C.’s premier museums, galleries and cultural attractions. Included among these sites are the Exploration Place, Huble Homestead, Barkerville Historic Town, Two Rivers Gallery and the Central B.C. Railway & Forestry Museum.
The Golden Raven Discovery Pass promotes the public’s interest and access to important historical sites within Northern B.C. while simultaneously creating greater exposure for participating historical and cultural attractions, and promoting travel within our region.
