The Prince George Public Library is looking for a dedicated, reliable and self-motivated Library Services Page for the Bob Harkins Branch of the Prince George Public Library. This is a 3-month temporary position from May – August 2026.
Demonstrated ability to accurately sort numerical and alphabetical sequences
• Positive attitude and communication skills.
• Physically able to participate in extended periods of activity, including lifting heavy objects, walking, and standing, stooping, bending and carrying.
• High level of self-motivation.
• Ability to work under supervision and independently.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts is a must including mornings, afternoons, evenings until 9:15 PM, and weekends.
• Must be 16 years of age, or older.
Library Pages fill an important role in ensuring the collection stays tidy and in order. Responsibilities include a variety of tasks associated with the return and re-shelving of material. The goal is to demonstrate respect, teamwork, and a high level of customer service in order to foster a people-centered environment so that we can effectively meet the needs of our library patrons.
