June 20 - First Nations Studies Master’s student Cheri Brown shares her research on the experiences of Indigenous students in North American post-secondary institutions. Cheri is a member of the Nisga’a First Nation, and has already completed one study examining cultural dissonance between instructors and Indigenous students. She is currently working on another study on acts of resistance and decolonizing post-secondary education.
