Paws 4 Stories

Both branches of PGPL will be CLOSED on Tuesday, September 30, for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Interlibrary loan service is currently unavailable due to the Canada Post strike.

* Attention! Paws 4 Stories registration is full for this summer! Visit us at the downtown branch of the library between 3:00 and 4:00 on a Wednesday afternoon (excluding July 31) to inquire about drop-in availability.

Read a story to a good dog from the St. Johns Ambulance Therapy Dog program! When a child reads to a therapy dog, they can relax, forget about feeling nervous, and discover that love and reading go hand-in-paw.

Register to ensure your position. Drop-in spaces may be available in the event that a registered participant is absent.
Both registered and drop-in participants should check in at the Youth Information Desk 5 minutes before the start of their scheduled reading session.

Call 250-563-9251 ext. 100 to register and ensure your position.
