Smart Recovery Family and Friends provides concerned significant others the tools they need to effectively support their loved one, without supporting the addictive behavior. These tools also help Family & Friends better cope with their loved one’s situation and regain their peace of mind.

What to Expect
● Takes place indoors in a quiet, comfortable space
● The lighting is adjustable
● Accessible and all-gender washrooms are available nearby
● Participants can sit in comfortable chairs or stand
● Semi-private space
● Discussion may include sensitive subjects such as addiction, grief, etc.
● Participants may leave the room at any time
It's important that our programs are accessible for everyone. We offer sensory materials for youth including wiggle cushions, ear defenders, and fidget toys at the main service desk—you do not need a library card.
