What to Expect:
● Takes place outdoors in a wheelchair-accessible space
● There is limited shade and shelter
● Some nearby traffic sounds
● Accessible and inclusive washrooms are available by entering the library and taking the elevator or stairs to the main level
● Participants can sit in comfortable chairs or stand
● The location of this program may change depending on the weather
● Participants may leave the space at any time
It's important that our programs are accessible for everyone. We offer sensory materials for youth including wiggle cushions, ear defenders, and fidget toys at the main service desk—you do not need a library card.
Our branches are fully accessible. Bob Harkins Branch has an elevator; Nechako Branch is on one level. If you have any questions about accessibility or need accommodations, please email ask@pgpl.ca with the program title and your question, or call us at 250-563-9251 ext. 100.
