What to Expect:
● Takes place in a busy, crowded space
● The lighting is adjustable
● Accessible and inclusive washrooms are available nearby
● Participants can sit in chairs or stand
● Electronic screens, bright colours, and/or reflective surfaces
● Sudden or loud sounds
● background music played at a low volume
● May involve sticky, slippery, or other textures
● Movement-based activities may be adapted to different abilities
It's important that our programs are accessible for everyone. We offer sensory materials for youth including wiggle cushions, ear defenders, and fidget toys at the main service desk—you do not need a library card.
