March 5 – Vermicomposting 101 - Learn how to reduce food waste with red wigglers, reaping in “gardeners gold”. Opportunity to purchase your own vermicomposter.
April 2 – Seed Starting 101 Growing your own plants from seed is an inexpensive and rewarding way to start your garden! Learn the basics of seed starting including what to plant when, how to grow seedlings indoors or outdoors, and get hands-on experience by planting your own seeds to take home!

What to Expect:
● Takes place indoors in a quiet, comfortable space
● The lighting is adjustable and will likely be dimmed
● Accessible and all-gender washrooms are available nearby
● Participants can sit in comfortable chairs or stand
It's important that our programs are accessible for everyone. We offer sensory materials for youth including wiggle cushions, ear defenders, and fidget toys at the main service desk—you do not need a library card.
