Featuring master's research by Marina Stuparyk, this presentation will include a brief history of the Spanish Inquisition and explore the trial of Maria de Cazalla. Maria preached publicly about sex and motherhood and was involved with a group called the Alumbrados. Stuparyk will explore the complex situation of women in the male-dominated worlds of sixteenth-century Spain and the Roman Catholic Church.
Britt. A.M. is a music Director at CFUR Radio, a solo musician, and a member of two bands. In this presentation, Britt will advise on how to collaborate, produce an album, and even manage a radio campaign. She encourages creators to follow their dreams while managing expectations.
Featuring master's research by Alauna Brown, this presentation will include a storytelling of a sixteenth century fairytale about two girls and how people in the past expected girls to look and behave. A display of paintings by Brown will showcase how these expectations changed in different versions of the story.

The Teen Art Workshop will feature five artists from various mediums: sculpture, digital arts, fine arts, and aboriginal/traditional. Youth are invited to bring examples of their art for an opportunity to get feedback and advice from professional artists. This workshop will be held in preparation for February's Teen Art Showcase.
