Calling all YOUTH Ukulele players! Get together with other ukulele players and learn to play some fun, popular songs. Chord and lyric sheets will be provided and beginners are welcome. We even have a few ukuleles at the library if you don't have one!

First book: Because of Winn-Dixie, by Kate DiCamillo
Disclaimer: some religious themes (her father is the preacher), mention of drinking alcohol.
Themes of friendship, loss, and resilience. And one great dog!

Second Book: The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The story follows a young prince who embarks on a journey, visiting different planets, including Earth. Themes of human nature, adults, loneliness, friendship, love, and loss.

Calling all chess enthusiasts and future grand masters! Beginning in October, learn to play from 4:30-5:30pm, then put your knowledge to the test in tournaments from 5:30pm onwards.
