July 25, Join Sloane Zogas as they talk about their research on queer women's experiences of harassment, both subtle and overt, in northern and rural communities. Sloane's research is based on first-hand accounts from queer women living in the North and addresses a significant knowledge gap to draw attention to an underexamined issue in our community and region.

Yarn Swap & Knitting Social

The 2023 Great Northwest Fibre Fest and Prince George Library are co-hosting a yarn-swap and fibre-crafting social. Bring in your "It's beautiful, but I know I'll never use it" yarn and swap it for yarn that you will. Bring your knitting, crocheting, tatting, embroidery and visit with other crafters at the cozy knitting social.

Want to drop off your yarn ahead of time? The downtown branch of the library will accept yarn swap items from July 24-28 during open hours at any service desk.
