Nechako Storytime Moved to Bob Harkins Branch

Due to a mechanical heat failure the Nechako Branch, in the Hart, is closed until further notice.

Both Babytime and Storytime will be moved to the Bob Harkins Branch, downtown, and pushed by 15 minutes to accommodate for unforeseen travel time.
Storytime will be from 10:30-11am and Babytime will be from 11:45am-12:15pm today.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

NaNoWriMo Write In @ Nechako

National Novel Writing Month, also know as NaNoWriMo, is a global phenomenon to challenge yourself to write a novel, or 50,000 words, in one month.

Every Saturday in November, join other NaNoWriMos at the Nechako Branch for weekly write-ins to crush your word count. Coffee and tea will be provided.

Costume Swap and Workshop

Join us for a costume swap and workshop!

For the Workshop, we'll have a variety of tools and materials just waiting for you to apply your magic. Start from scratch or bring your works in progress.

The Swap is all about take one, leave one: a great way to pass along last year's costume and find something new-to-you in the process! Costumes for all ages, in clean, usable conditions are welcome. Items can be dropped off in advance or at the time of the swap.

These are all ages activities, but please note that youth 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
