November 5th at the Nechako Branch, in the Hart, featuring:
Balakrishna- An animation telling the true story of a boy and an elephant who get to know each other in a small town in Nova Scotia in the summer of 1967.
Sovereign Soil- A documentary about a handful of unlikely farmers in Dawson City, Yukon growing everything from snow-covered Brussels sprouts to apples.

December 3rd at the Bob Harkins Branch, downtown, featuring:
A festival of short films for all ages including the classic The Cat Came Back

No Fish Where to Go- A short animation about the friendship of two little girls from opposing village clans. A story that examines intolerance and the consequences of war.
Far From Bashar- A feature length documentary about a family settled in Montreal after fleeing the conflict in Syria.
