Discussion with an Olympian: Kelsey Serwa

Kelsey Serwa is a Canadian retired freestyle skier who was a member of the Canadian national ski cross team. A two time Olympic Medalist, the 2011 FIS World Champion, and a two time Winter X Games Champion, Kelsey joins us for an in-person presentation about her journey and experiences.

January 2023: January: Small to Large Actions At Home: Energy Savings For You & The Environment

Join us for an overview of actions, big to small, that can be taken on at home to reduce your energy use, gain you savings, and benefit the environment.
Presentation will introduce actions and projects that advance in heating/cooling, lighting and appliance and electronics usage. GOTT energy (https://www.gottenergy.com) will be joining us to speak to technologies that can be invested into your home to shift to renewables and sustainable energy use.

February 2023: Mapping Out: Eco-Friendly products & Habits for the Home

Join us for an overview of what habits we can adopt or enhance at home to reduce our environmental impacts of daily living. In addition, we will highlight some handy home products that can be incorporated to help you on your eco-living journey.

Cancelled - Gentle Seated Tai Chi @ Nechako

Join instructor Tom Hynd as he leads us through a Tai Chi form originally developed as a restorative practice for people suffering from arthritis. Anyone is welcome to join us for an hour of easy-to-follow gentle movement that can be done seated or standing.

Nechako Babytime Moved to Bob Harkins Branch

Due to a mechanical heat failure the Nechako Branch, in the Hart, is closed until further notice.

Both Babytime and Storytime will be moved to the Bob Harkins Branch, downtown, and pushed by 15 minutes to accommodate for unforeseen travel time.
Storytime will be from 10:30-11am and Babytime will be from 11:45am-12:15pm today.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
