Join instructor Tom Hynd as he leads us through a Tai Chi form originally developed as a restorative practice for people suffering from arthritis. Anyone is welcome to join us for an hour of easy-to-follow gentle movement that can be done seated or standing.

Playwright Julian Legere will read a short excerpt from his play-in-progress “Darcy and Wickham” - a queer reimagining of the history of characters from Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice. Followed by discussion and snacks.

National Novel Writing Month, also know as NaNoWriMo, is a global phenomenon to challenge yourself to write a novel, or 50,000 words, in one month.

Every Saturday in November, join other NaNoWriMos at the Nechako Branch for weekly write-ins to crush your word count. Coffee and tea will be provided.

Join us for a costume swap and workshop!

For the Workshop, we'll have a variety of tools and materials just waiting for you to apply your magic. Start from scratch or bring your works in progress.

The Swap is all about take one, leave one: a great way to pass along last year's costume and find something new-to-you in the process! Costumes for all ages, in clean, usable conditions are welcome. Items can be dropped off in advance or at the time of the swap.

These are all ages activities, but please note that youth 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Come participate in BC Culture Days 2022 by learning Chinese words in a fun and creative way! With help from the Speak Write Academy, learn to draw Chinese numbers 1 - 10 and the word for Turkey, also known as 'Fire Chicken' to celebrate Thanksgiving!
