For dads, male caregivers and their children! This storytime will include traditional storytime elements as well as tips on how to encourage literacy and foster a love of reading with dad.

Join us every week in the Knowledge Garden for activities and games!  The program will be run outside (in-person) in the Knowledge Garden with participants sitting on the grassy knoll in designated spots.

Two sessions will run each day 2:00-3:00pm and 4:00-5:00pm

Canadian Planetariums presents: The Perseid Meteor Shower

Enjoy the Perseid Meteors! This year the fainter meteors will come into view as the moon, which often hides the little ones, will be absent during the time of maximum activity.
Join Canadian Planetariums to learn about Perseids and for tips on how to best watch the meteor shower. Bring your questions! Appropriate for all ages.

Children's Art Showcase

Do you know a budding artist ready to share their work? Get ready for the Children’s Art Showcase! Take a picture of your masterpiece and send it to children@pgpl.ca and have it displayed on the library’s social media channels! All participants will be entered to win an Artist Prize Pack. For 5-12 yrs.

Submissions accepted throughout the month of February! One submission per child.
